Relax in style at the new Margaritaville Lake Resort at the Lake of the Ozarks. |
The rumors you’ve heard are true… there’s now a Margaritaville at the Lake of the Ozarks. You can go ahead and start singing that legendary Jimmy Buffett song now.
Officially celebrating its launch on Wednesday, May 1, Margaritaville Lake Resort is open for business (and fun) in Osage Beach.
There’s been an amazing amount of work going on over the last 18 months during the multi-million dollar transformation of Tan-Tar-A Resort into the new Margaritaville Lake Resort. Those that have stayed at Tan-Tar-A in the past will still recognize the layout of the resort complex, but there are many new and exciting changes and additions on property to look forward to.

This lakeside escape will transport guests into a vacation state of mind, blending Margaritaville’s authentic “no worries” vibe with the area’s Lake lifestyle. Every guest room and public space has been renovated to match the new island vibe. The resort features multiple diverse restaurant concepts, a full-service spa and salon, a fitness center, horseback riding, bowling, an arcade, three outdoor pool complexes and a 20,000 square-foot indoor water park.
Locals and visitors alike also can partake of the new dining experience at the recently opened LandShark Bar & Grill, located lakeside on the resort grounds. Inspired by the traditional beach bars of the Atlantic Coast, LandShark serves up a complimentary mix of quality food and refreshing beverages which can be enjoyed indoors and out.
The layouts for Margaritaville’s two golf courses, The Oaks and the Nine-Hole Course at Margaritaville, have largely stayed the same but the clubhouse and pro shop at The Oaks has received a major facelift inside and out with new hardwood floors, carpeting and six high-def TVs and a pool table.
